The Role:
As a Sales Development Representative II, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our sales. In this role, you will have the opportunity to exhibit your passion for sales and technology, providing the autonomy to meet and exceed metrics and quotas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by conducting independent research on potential clients, emails, and social media, and setting up meetings for the sales team. You will play a key role in identifying potential sales opportunities and driving our company's growth.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets.
- Implement outbound sales strategies to identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps.
- Use CRM software to track and measure all sales activities and to manage your sales pipeline effectively.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for generating more opportunities.
- Meet or exceed assigned metrics & quotas, with the autonomy to approach these targets in a manner that best suits your strengths and strategies.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and webinars to network and generate leads.
- Stay current on company offerings and industry trends to effectively communicate with prospects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Skills/Abilities:
- Solid understanding of Salesforce, Outreach.io, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Familiarity with selling APIs and understanding their functionality.
- Proficiency in both inbound and outbound channels.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and challenges.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges and feedback.
- Proficient with Google Office Suite and other software tools.
Education and Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the tech industry, with a track record of achieving sales quotas.
- Proven history of achieving and surpassing quota expectations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
OTE: $99,289 - $116,810
This is classified as a full-time, nonexempt role under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Salary Range
$99,289 - $116,810 USD
