Receptionist/Scanner (FT - On-Site)
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
We only consider candidates living locally or within the State of CA. We do not pay any relocation expenses.
JOB SUMMARY
This position will handle front desk duties and provide support across various departments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members.
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Sort, distribute, and maintain mail; manage postage machine; handle outgoing mail.
- Perform filing, scanning, and data entry tasks.
- Ensure the kitchen and supply room are clean and well-organized.
- Take responsibility for dishwasher duties and prepare coffee.
- Track and maintain inventory of office and kitchen supplies.
- Coordinate meeting lunches, including sending invitations, ordering, setup, and cleanup.
- Assist with event planning and coordination.
- Update contact lists for phone and Evite with employee changes.
- Manage the conference room scheduling and calendars.
- Order flowers as requested by the HR department.
- Scan large building blueprints, organize digital files, and bookmark if necessary.
- Order nameplates for new employees.
- Deliver plans to clients when required.
- Drive a company vehicle to pick up office and/or kitchen supplies or catering order, if need be.
- Assist with office facility management.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Excellent verbal skills.
- Prior phone experience a plus.
- Must be punctual.
- Excellent attendance necessary.
- Attention to detail.
- Computer skills; proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Possession and maintenance of a valid Class “C” California driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record is required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- General office environment.
- Work productively independently or in a team environment.
- Occasional overtime work is required throughout the year.
- Regularly require working in sitting or standing positions at workstation for extended periods.
- Require walking, bending, and sitting.
- May require lifting up to 35 pounds.
- Must be able to travel to client sites and/or job sites.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines and multiple projects.
Salary Range
$20 - $24 USD
