Title: Compliance Senior Associate  - Manila

What you’ll do

 

• Lead audit engagements by dealing with auditors and internal stakeholders including but not limited to:

• External audit planning calls
• Internal team briefing
• Internal coordination for information gathering
• Writing of technical papers, on transactions, to be submitted to auditors for review
• Review of financial statements to ensure compliance with local accounting standards, which is mostly aligned with IFRS. US GAAP experience is preferred.
• Project management of the audit to ensure deadlines are met

 

• Research on complex accounting transactions/issues and preparation of technical papers to propose solutions to regional controllers
• Keep abreast of accounting developments to keep the accounting team up to date. 
• Development of training materials and training of regional accounting team members as well as Manila accounting team members

What we’re looking for

 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 5-7 years of domain experience. 
• Big 4 Accounting Preferred
• Experienced in working with various cross-functional stakeholders on complex accounting issues.
