PMO Manager, CloudKitchens- Los Angeles

Los Angeles

Who We Are
CloudKitchens helps restaurateurs around the world succeed in online food delivery - our goal is to make food more affordable, higher quality and convenient for everyone.

We take underutilized properties and transform them into smart kitchens so they can better serve restaurateurs, customers and the neighborhoods they’re in. Every time we launch a new facility we create jobs in that neighborhood, and we’re proud to provide a wide range of cuisines and options for healthy food at an affordable price.

We're changing the game for restaurateurs whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant all the way through to your favorite global quick-service restaurant chains.

What you’ll do

We’re looking for a highly organized, data-driven PMO Manager to lead and evolve project execution across our People Team. Reporting into the People organization, you will drive operational excellence and build structure around the execution of long-term programs such as compensation philosophy, HR system enhancements, and people lifecycle initiatives.

You’ll govern timelines, manage risk, and ensure accountability across the function while introducing and monitoring KPIs that elevate team performance. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a strong foundation in project management, people management and HRIS (Workday is a must).

  • Own and drive the People Team roadmap, delivering on programs that span 6–12 months with multiple workstreams
  • Plan, create and manage the project/program/product roadmap and prioritization for People Team initiatives
  • Govern planning, execution, accountability, and risk mitigation across high-impact projects (e.g. compensation cycle, banding strategy, performance initiatives)
  • Directly manage two Associates (L3 and L4) – provide oversight on projects while also contributing IC work
  • Build and roll out project tracking systems (e.g. Asana) to improve visibility and team coordination
  • Partner closely with CPO, HRIS Manager, and broader People Team to translate strategy into execution
  • Introduce and monitor KPIs across the PMO to drive decision-making and accountability
  • Support the design and implementation of people programs and infrastructure (e.g. compensation frameworks, career banding)
  • Ensure alignment across stakeholder groups while standing firm on project decisions and process adherence
  • Leverage Workday and other HRIS tools to inform planning and execution
  • Act as the connective tissue across employee lifecycle programs with a strong customer-centric lens

What We’re Looking For

  • 10–15 years of experience with People Program and Product Management
  • 5-7 years of people management experience
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to optimize HR practices and solve complex business challenges
  • High level of technical experience (Workday/HRIS)
  • Experience with Stakeholder management and data-driven decision making

Why Join Us

  • Growing market: You’ll be focused on an $80 billion market that’s projected to reach at least $500 billion by 2030 in the US alone.
  • Changing the restaurant industry: You’ll be part of a team that helps restaurants succeed in online food delivery.
  • Collaborative environment: You will receive support and guidance from experienced colleagues and managers, helping you to learn, grow and achieve your goals, and you’ll work closely with other teams to ensure our customer’s success.

What else you need to know

This role is based in our Los Angeles office location. We believe that people do their best work when they are together. As a company, we’re in the marketplace of ideas and innovation. When you’re constantly innovating, changing how an industry works, inventing new products and processes - and we are doing all these things - we believe we’re better as a team in-person. That’s why all of our teams (except for our field-based roles) are now working from one of our office locations 5 days a week. Looking forward to sharing more about a Career of Substance at CloudKitchens.
