About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bank Reconciliations Support to join our Finance team onsite at our Makati office. In this role, you will support the Record to Report (RTR) function by ensuring the accuracy of financial data, driving month-end close activities, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

What you’ll do

• Perform Bank reconciliations on a monthly basis and report any discrepancies
• Ensure bank balance is tied up to book balance daily
• Monitor daily cash open reconciling items and ensure action plan and action owners are properly identified
• Perform timely and accurate bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and internal records.
• Monitor daily bank transactions and flag unusual or suspicious activities.
• Prepare reconciliation reports and support month-end closing activities.

 

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA license is preferred.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally in an RTR or shared services environment, with prior audit experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP) and financial reporting principles.
• Has solid and extensive experience handling cash accounts
• Has solid and extensive experience in Bank Reconciliation
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday or similar.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
