Head of Marketing

Los Angeles, CA

Who we are

CloudKitchens helps restaurateurs around the world succeed in online food delivery - our goal is to make food more affordable, higher quality and convenient for everyone.

We take underutilized properties and transform them into smart kitchens so they can better serve restaurateurs, customers and the neighborhoods they’re in. Every time we launch a new facility we create jobs in that neighborhood, and we’re proud to provide a wide range of cuisines and options for healthy food at an affordable price.

We're changing the game for restaurateurs whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant all the way through to your favorite global quick-service restaurant chains.

About the role

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to lead growth and marketing for CloudKitchens across the US and Canada. In this role, you will own: setting the strategy, allocating and optimizing a large annual paid media budget, and hitting aggressive customer acquisition targets for all of CloudKitchens.

The ideal candidate is a quantitative, hands-on growth leader who is as comfortable in the numbers as in the creative. You know how to run Meta and Google at scale, you understand CAC economics and B2B acquisition funnels, and you’re energized by shifting a motion from raw lead volume toward lead quality. You’ll work closely with Sales, the GTM team, and the PLG team to make sure the leads we generate turn into customers, and you’ll lead the team and agency partners that make it happen.

What you’ll do

  • Define the paid acquisition strategy for CloudKitchens in the US and Canada, and own the targets that come with it
  • Allocate and optimize ad spend across channels, with a focus on efficient customer acquisition and CAC economics
  • Manage paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, and coordinate with agencies and contractors
  • Drive creative performance, working with creative partners to test and scale what works
  • Analyze conversion funnel metrics, identify drop-offs, and optimize flows end to end
  • Partner with Sales to get feedback on lead quality and improve conversion from lead to customer
  • Partner with the PLG team on growth levers and with the GTM team on messaging and campaigns
  • Work with Marketing on product launches and messaging
  • Explore and scale new acquisition channels such as YouTube, TikTok, influencers, podcasts, customer testimonial content, and short-form social creative, using a dedicated experimentation budget
  • Build, hire, and mentor a high-performing growth marketing team

What we’re looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in performance marketing or growth marketing
  • Experience managing 8 figures+ annual paid media budget
  • Deep expertise in Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; a background in mathematics or economics is a plus
  • A strong understanding of funnel optimization and CAC economics
  • Experience in a high-growth startup or scaleup
  • Experience managing agencies, contractors, and teams
  • A bachelor’s degree

Strong candidates may also

  • Understand B2B customer acquisition funnels, particularly for SMBs
  • Have a track record of high-volume SMB customer acquisition, including Meta-first acquisition strategies
  • Have experience running ABM campaigns
  • Have experience at fast-paced, high-volume companies with short B2B sales cycles, such as hospitality, food and beverage, services, logistics, or real estate
  • Have experience with D2C or consumer performance marketing at scale
  • Have experience opening up and scaling new paid and organic channels
