Construction Program Manager
Who we are
Lab37 Robotics, is a technology company focused on the development and deployment of robots designed specifically for direct-to-customer food production. Our mission is to revolutionize the food industry by creating innovative robotic solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology to deliver cutting-edge products that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
About the role
As Construction Program Manager, you will be the primary owner of all kitchen modifications, coordination, and permitting across every Lab37 install in the US. You'll lead a team of project managers and draw on Lab37's existing kitchen onboarding team to move installs through design, permitting, construction, and inspection — reliably, and at increasing speed as volume scales into the hundreds.
This role is for a strategic, versatile problem solver who can build formulaic processes for deployment at scale while staying hands-on with the technical and logistical realities of individual sites.
What you’ll do
- Own end-to-end delivery of kitchen modifications for Lab37 installs nationwide: design, permitting, construction, inspection, and handoff to operations.
- Build and continuously refine a formulaic deployment process that lets Lab37 install hundreds of Bowl Builders and other autonomous technologies reliably and at speed.
- Manage construction budgets and cost controls across a high volume of concurrent, small-to-medium scale projects.
- Navigate permitting and inspection processes across varied jurisdictions, staying ahead of code constraints and AHJ requirements.
- Direct cross-functional and technical teams — engineering, construction, and kitchen onboarding — finding shortcuts and unblocking critical path items wherever possible.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients across a multitude of simultaneous projects with many moving parts.
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of project managers as install volume scales into new markets.
- Apply technical understanding of engineering systems and code constraints to solve complex, kitchen-specific build challenges.
What we are looking for
- Experience developing commercial kitchens, or technically similar environments, with a strong grasp of construction budgeting and cost control.
- A track record in permitting and inspection processes, with working knowledge of code constraints across jurisdictions.
- Program management experience overseeing many parallel work streams and directing technical teams at pace.
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills — comfortable owning relationships with both internal teams and external customers.
Core Competencies

- Construction budgeting and cost control
- Permitting and inspection processes
- Stakeholder (internal) and client (external) management
- Program management: building formulaic deployment processes at scale and directing multiple parallel work streams
- Technical understanding of engineering systems and code constraints
