CTI is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of complex projects, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues, proactively addressing them.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns or issues.
  • Support business development and bid and proposal efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices and standards.
  • Explore and integrate new warfighting technologies and strategies to enhance project outcomes.
  • Apply warfighting experience to evaluate capability gaps and propose innovative solutions.

*Note: This position is contingent upon the award of a contract for a project currently being pursued. Employment will begin only if the contract is successfully awarded.

Requirements

Location: We are seeking candidates who meet the following requirements and are located in one of the designated hiring regions: Ohio, Wisconsin, Camarillo, California and Denver, Colorado. This role requires up to 25% travel, which may include site visits, client meetings, team offsites, or industry events. Travel will be scheduled as needed based on project demands and business priorities.

Necessary Skills and Experience

  • At least 10 years in project/program management or 10 years’ experience in military operations.
  • Experience with government, military or government contractor projects and programs.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, communications, and writing skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, computer science, information technology).
  • Electronic Warfare background or understanding and its use within the DoD.

 

Security Clearance Requirement

  • Must have an active U.S. government Top Secret security clearance (TS preferred)
  • U.S. citizenship is required to obtain security clearances. 

 

Beneficial Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Office, JIRA, Cost Point).
  • PMP Certification, or similar project management certification.
  • Experience in DoD test and evaluation.
  • Understanding of DoD acquisition system including appropriate certifications.
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience developing and implementing training curricula and modifying exercise scenarios.
  • 10 years’ experience in tactical aviation.
  • Knowledge about project management and processes.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and processes.
