CTI is seeking a Senior Level Data Scientist /Operations Research Systems Analysts (ORSA) to join our team. You will assist with strategic efforts, across numerous business lines, by improving their organizational learning and decision-making through the systematic employment of advanced, science-based analytical methods on complex national security issues.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop creative solutions for complex problems.
- Understand, identify, assess, craft, document, and/or employ advanced analytics.
- Lead corporate hybrid teams in innovation and strategy discussions to capture new DoW technology markets.
- Use mathematics, statistical methods, operational mathematic techniques, engineering methods, and other scientific and economic principles to assess, measure, and describe opportunities, risk, performance, and effectiveness.
- Construct and execute methodologically sound quantitative and qualitative analyses in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Organize data and enable/advise executives, managers, and technical directors in the accomplishment of critical missions.
- Lead, train, and facilitate teams through modeling and analysis.
- Facilitate decision-making meetings and analytic exchanges.
- Support innovation and digital transformation initiatives across CTI strategic campaigns.
Requirements
This position is a hybrid-remote/onsite position and requires work to be performed at Camp H. M. Smith, Hawaii.
Necessary Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in operations research, mathematics, computer science or similar.
- Minimum of 30 years of experience in data science, operations research, or a related field within the US SOF community.
- Experience serving in positions of leadership at the C-Suite equivalent.
- Minimum 30 years of operational experience. Master’s degree in business preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and teaming abilities.
- Must be self-starter, able to take initiative, work independently and recognize management issues that need to be elevated.
- Active TOP SECRET clearance with Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI).
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Beneficial Skills and Experience
