How you can help make a better world of work
We're looking for a Director, Commercial Sales to lead our Commercial (Mid-Market) segment sales team, working with customers and prospects up to 1,000 employees. You'll set the strategy and operating rhythm for a team of Account Executives and Account Managers, while staying close enough to the field to coach the deals that matter.
This is a genuine team-building role: You will build the team, not just carry a number. Recruit, develop, and retain sellers who become better sellers and leaders. You'll also be the sales half of a close partnership with your Customer Experience counterpart, working together so wins in the sales cycle turn into long-term customer success.
As part of this team of amazing humans,
You will
- Coach and develop your Account Executives and Account Managers: through 1:1 feedback, performance reviews, and by getting into deals alongside them when it matters most
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop AEs and AMs who who bring both the right skills and the right values to the team
- Be the sales half of a true partnership with your CX Director counterpart in our Pod Model, aligned on strategy, accountable together for the customer's experience across the full lifecycle\Set the vision for your team and translate it into a strategy that gets you to quota, sustainably, quarter over quarter
- Own the rhythm that makes the rest possible: forecasting that leadership can trust, pipeline that's actually worked, and performance tracking that surfaces problems early
You have
- A genuine track record of building teams, not just managing headcount, but recruiting, developing, and retaining people who grow into better sellers and leaders under you
- 3+ years leading a sales team, ideally in B2B SaaS
- Real fluency with the mechanics: Salesforce, Gong, forecasting discipline, and a working command of MEDDPICC or an equivalent qualification framework
- The instinct and credibility to work well across functions, especially with Customer Experience and SDR, where influence matters more than authority
- Experience growing revenue in more than one way, landing new logos and expanding current customers, because at Culture Amp, both matter to the number
You are
- Driven by your team's success as much as your own, you lead because you want to build something, not just hit a number
- A natural collaborator: you'd rather build the plan with your CX partner than hand them a plan you already made
- Drawn to Culture Amp's mission because you've felt the difference a great workplace makes, and you want to help build more of them
