About the Role:
The Director of IT Service Management is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing service delivery strategies that support business objectives and ensure a seamless end-user experience. This role oversees the daily operations of the IT service delivery team, with a strong focus on performance management, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
• Develop and implement IT service delivery strategies that align with the organization's overall goals.
• Provide leadership and direction to the IT service delivery team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT service delivery team, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
• Manage resources (human, financial, and technical) to support service delivery operations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients/customers, addressing their needs and concerns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients/customers, fostering trust and satisfaction.
• Ensure that service delivery processes are customer-centric and focused on delivering exceptional value.
• Identify areas for improvement in service delivery processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in service delivery management.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the service delivery team.
What You’ll Bring:
• 10+ years of experience in IT service delivery or IT operations; including 5+ years in leadership or management capacity
• Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients/customers and team members.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve complex problems, using analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Project Management: Experience in managing projects and programs, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service skills and a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of industry best practices and standards in service delivery management.
