Title: Senior Manager, IT Development – Delivery & Release

Who You Are: The Senior Manager, IT Development – Delivery & Release Management is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing enterprise software delivery, agile project execution, and system analysis functions. This role leads a team with a Release Manager, Agile Project Managers, and Systems Analysts to ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of technology initiatives aligned with business priorities. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in software development lifecycle (SDLC) management, agile frameworks, release governance, and cross-functional team leadership.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and manage the IT release management process, ensuring structured planning, coordination, and execution of all production deployments.
- Oversee agile project delivery across IT development initiatives, driving consistent adoption of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.
- Supervise and mentor a team of systems analysts responsible for requirements gathering, solution design, and business process improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery pipelines and release processes, identifying automation and quality assurance opportunities.
- Collaborate with product owners, development leads, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to align priorities and deliver value.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor team performance, delivery timelines, and quality of releases.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex issues impacting release schedules or project delivery.
- Maintain compliance with change control, documentation, and governance policies.
- Partner with PMO, IT Ops, and business units to synchronize roadmaps, manage interdependencies, and ensure resource alignment.
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in IT, including 3+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional delivery teams.
- Proven expertise in software release management, Agile/Scrum delivery, and SDLC best practices.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, integration workflows, and DevOps principles.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, or equivalent.
Nevada Hiring Range
$140,000 - $165,000 USD
