Lead Pharmacy Technician
Type of Work: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Shift Availability: Mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $23.75
Location: 814 E Main St, Stamford, CT 06902
Who You Are:
As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting our dispensary operations. You’ll work closely with the Pharmacist to ensure accurate prescription processing, inventory management, and a seamless patient experience. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone passionate about cannabis, compliance, and customer care.
What You'll Do:
- Assist patients with product questions and provide knowledgeable, compassionate service
- Educate patients on safe and responsible cannabis use
- Prepare and dispense cannabis products in compliance with state regulations
- Collaborate with the Pharmacist to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and HIPAA-compliant work environment
- Stay current on cannabis laws, product knowledge, and industry trends
- Support and guide team members while fostering a positive work culture
- Perform other duties as assigned to support dispensary operations
What You'll Bring:
- Active Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a pharmacy technician; cannabis experience is a plus
- At least 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of medication, dosage measurement, pharmacy law, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and reliability
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Greenhouse or cannabis software experience is a plus
Connecticut Hiring Range
$23.75 - $26.25 USD
