Title: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

DAYS | 7:00am – 3:30pm

POSITION SUMMARY: The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator manages all deliveries to and from the cultivation facility along with creating and monitoring home deliveries and works closely with the dispensaries and security transportation department to ensure inventory tracking, safe travel paths, and security of our products while in transit. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Set and managing Shipping Calendar 
  • Manage both transfers and home delivery programs 
  • Involved in scheduling State testing deliveries 
  • Verify and match deliveries to orders. 
  • Determine appropriate shipping routes 
  • Have clear control of inventory during preparation and transit for travel. 
  • Work with Inventory Manager to ensure receiving area is organized and clean and meets all compliance factors. 
  • Own all shipping/tracking info in OnFleet. 
  • Generate and update operational data for above site use. 
  • Work with logistics team to ensure all movements are accurate within the seed to sale software. 
  • Prepare and email manifest and required documents to the Department of Health. 
  • Follow up on any outstanding orders to determine estimated delivery times. 
  • Responds to shipping and tracking questions in timely fashion. 
  • Audits all returns and non-conforming products. 
  • Work with manger to develop SOP’s and work instructions 
  • Assist with scheduling and managing delivery driver teams. 
  • Communicating with delivery drivers throughout the day during home deliveries. 
  • Perform system adjustments as required and analyze for root cause. Initiate subsequent corrective action 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility for others.   

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  

 

  •  High school diploma or equivalent qualification required  
  • A minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a similar role  
  • Good communication ability  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and software ERP systems along with freight logistics programs 
  • Written communication and oral communication skills 
  • Speaks clearly and can be easily understood 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely 
  • Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with little oversight. 
  • Self-starter and an able independent worker. 
  • Organizes and expresses ideas in an efficient manner 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize 
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment

  • Checks work to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time (8-10 hours per shift)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasional lifting of heavier items with assistance
  • Frequent and repetitive use of hands and wrists for extended periods of time
  • Repetitive bending, squatting, and reaching
  • Ability to climb ladders or step stools to access plants or equipment
  • Ability to use required PPE when required, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary

Environmental Conditions 

  • Exposure to environments with high humidity, varying temperatures, and strong odors (such as cannabis)
  • Exposure to soil, water, fertilizer, dust, pollen and plant pathogens
  • Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol
  • Exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms
  • Exposure to CO2 manufacturing procedures at OSHA approved CO2 levels

$18.50 - $18.50 USD
