Job: Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
Pay: $19.25 per hour
Location: Hammonton, NJ
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM
Job Description
- The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will be responsible for receiving and unloading product deliveries, maintaining stock in the throughout the facility, kitting materials, and moving inventory and other materials to fulfill orders for production. This position also assists with audits and other functions as required with the Supply Chain department. The role requires diligent team members who can successfully complete tasks and operate throughout the day autonomously.
Responsibilities:
- Move stock to and from loading docks, delivery vehicles, storage areas, and production areas either manually or using equipment as required
- Keep the receiving dock, storage room, and overall warehouse organized and tidy
- Implement general housekeeping practices to maintain workplace cleanliness
- Maintain all accurate inventory counts and associated documentation
- Assist in Inventory reconciliation including audits and cycle counting
- Fill out inventory/production lists, crosscheck incoming invoices and maintain accurate receiving logs.
- Maintain inventory of shipping/receiving materials and supplies.
- Communicate any security or safety concerns to Inventory/Security teams as needed
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to Supervisor
- Supply production with materials needed via batch records and or direct communication with manufacturing
- Process returns for incorrect and defective products
- Maintain an organized and functional storage room utilizing 5S and general warehousing principles
- Performing aseptic fills of measured substances for kits
- Follow all QA and QC guidelines
- Maintaining precise counts and following department verifications as required to ensure inventory accuracy
- Strict adherence to procedures and practices according to SOPs, cGMPs, Facility Rules, and NYS regulations
- Strong emphasis on documentation according to company and state policies
- Adhere to departmental, site and corporate safety practices
- Responsible for facility and equipment cleaning to maintain cGMP aseptic standards
- Accurately enter data in all company forms, the EBR, and Quartzy.
- Keep good records of all practices implemented and data collected as pertaining to role
- Store supplies and equipment and disposal of waste per guidelines
- Perform clerical work related to inventory activities such as word processing, record keeping, and filing
- Maintain material safety data sheets for all department chemicals and products
- Maintain a neat and organized work area allowing for the proper segregation of materials and processes
- Strong emphasis on documentation according to cGMP and NJS
- Assist in other departments as needed
- Perform any other job-related tasks or duties as assigned by management
Compliance:
- Ensure supply chain operation is fully compliant with state regulations and federal and state law.
- Assure that all operations adhere to business and industry license requirements.
- Maintaining strict inventory records of all materials, chemicals and equipment used in the operation and document activities by completing forms, reports, logs and records as required.
Job requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid NYS license with reliable transportation
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required

- Ability to accurately fill out documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels in a team environment
- Possess Basic Math skills such as addition, subtraction, division and multiplication
- Ability to gown and work in an aseptic/clean room environment.
- Health and safety practices and precautions applicable to a biopharmaceutical laboratory
- Proper and safe handling and disposal of harmful chemicals, substances, and hazardous wastes
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to effectively plan and prioritize
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work with regulated material in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to focus & attention to detail
- Ability to communicate both verbally and written
- Possess basic computer skills and be able to enter and maintain data accurately
- Work with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Work with BioTrack THC and other inventory management software systems
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires a great deal of sitting, walking, bending, and reaching
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks
- Close visual focus required
- This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut/manipulate small objects
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lb.
