The Role:

Part Time 16-24 hours per week  / $24-$26/hr.

Curve Royalty Systems is seeking a Sales Coordinator to help manage potential new Curve clients and partners. You will be responsible for assisting the sales team with day-to-day responsibilities including prospecting of new leads, optimization of sales workflows, organization of internal & external sales assets and other sales related tasks. This position will report directly to the Manager of Sales.

This role is part-time and fully remote. We welcome applications from candidates based in the United States. Preference will be given to those located in Northern California, though we are also open to remote candidates outside of California.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Identify and research qualified leads for the Curve Sales team who fit our ideal client profiles across Record labels, Music Publishers, Distributors and similar related businesses and provide contextual information regarding their current and past royalty processing solutions
  • Learn and develop ownership in assigned projects
  • Execute the timely due diligence and review of new client data
  • Handle Sales inquiries regarding product demos, customer support, pricing inquiries
  • Ensure accuracy in all new client set up and onboarding 
  • Assist sales reps with paperwork and data entry related to new business pipeline 
  • Support Curve’s Sales organization and process in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with company controls
  • Employ critical thinking in the review of data and analytics to ensure accurate pipeline management and forecasting
  • Ad hoc projects and responsibilities as required in response to changing business requirements

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years of relevant business experience - experience in the areas of Music Business, Business Administration, or Accounting is preferred
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • High level of empathy for clients of all sizes and backgrounds
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Google Docs, Word, Gmail, Slack, etc
  • Act as a self-starter in proactively finding solutions and aiding the Sales team
  • Desire to ensure client satisfaction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with communication platforms such as Helpscout and Slack
  • Must be team-oriented and collaborative, able to work with both leadership and colleagues
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Creative thinker with commitment to excellence
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working with numerical data, strong attention to detail, and analytical/problem-solving skills
  • You are naturally curious and enjoy understanding how things work. When something catches your attention, you take the time to explore it further and learn from it
  • You are self-motivated, take initiative, take ownership of your work, and can stay focused and organized in a remote environment

You are confident asking questions and seeking clarity. You’re thoughtful about what you don’t yet know. You know when to dig deeper and investigate, and when to ask for help rather than assume

Curve Royalty Systems provides base salary ranges for all positions located in the United States at the time of posting. The pay rate range for this position is $24/hr. - $26/hr.
