Sr Partner Manager

As a Sr. Partner Manager, you'll play a key role in driving this strategy forward—owning partner & agency relationships, enabling partners to win with us, and helping create repeatable, high-impact motions that fuel pipeline and revenue.

This is more than a traditional partner role. We’re looking for someone resourceful, creative, and bold—someone who thrives in ambiguity, thinks like a leader, builder, and brings relevance into every conversation. You’ll be a trusted extension of the Customer.io brand within the partner community and a go-to collaborator across sales, product, and marketing.

What You'll Do

  • Build and deepen relationships with agencies across your territory, ensuring mutual value creation and sustained engagement
  • Collaborate on co-marketing and co-selling activities, including joint campaigns, warm referrals, and multi-threaded sales motions with AEs
  • Own end-to-end enablement from onboarding to ramping to growth
  • Drive partner-sourced pipeline and closed revenue, with clear ownership of both metrics
  • Deliver product and sales training to partners that position Customer.io clearly and competitively in their solution mix
  • Create structure and accountability with external partners through sales planning, forecasting, and shared targets
  • Support demand generation efforts by planning and executing partner-led events and activities
  • Serve as a voice of the partner internally—bringing feedback to improve our product, messaging, and processes
  • Partner with internal teams to develop and refine our partner program, enablement materials, and systems
  • Represent Customer.io at industry events, partner summits, and executive meetings

How You’ll Be Measured

  • New partner-sourced pipeline created & Closed partner-sourced revenue
  • Activation and engagement of partners within your assigned territory
  • Partner engagement milestones and training completion
  • Contribution to repeatable GTM and playbook development

Who You Are

  • 5+ years in a partner, channel, or B2B SaaS sales role with quota-carrying responsibility
  • Experience with engaging partners in every step of the Partner Development Lifecycle
  • Skilled at managing strategic relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • You're energized by ownership, quick to learn, and not afraid to take smart risks
  • You bring a strong bias for action—and know how to get things done through influence
  • Bonus: familiarity with selling or enabling CRMs, marketing automation, or integrated SaaS tools

Structure & Collaboration

  • You’ll manage inbound and outbound sourced partners within your territory
  • Work closely with supporting internal resourced like Partner Development, Sales Specialists. and DemandGen experts. Ron
  • You’ll partner tightly with AEs on referral-to-full-cycle co-sell motions
  • You’ll play a key role in refining and scaling a model that works

Compensation & Benefits

  • OTE: $170,000 USD (Base: $119,000 + Variable: $51,000), adjusted for local market as needed
