
Contract Recruiting Coordinator
👋 Hello from the Recruiting Team at Customer.io! We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Recruiting Coordinator to join our team.
In this role, you’ll be the key partner ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for candidates while supporting recruiters and hiring managers across multiple departments. From scheduling interviews and keeping communication flowing to making sure our processes run seamlessly, you’ll help us deliver an outstanding recruiting experience end to end. This role is a great fit for someone who has 2+ years of recruiting coordination experience, loves juggling details, and thrives on building strong candidate and team interactions while also being confident using recruiting tools and keeping operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications to deliver an exceptional candidate experience
- Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and interview teams to ensure smooth hiring processes across multiple departments
- Keep our recruiting tools (Greenhouse, Airtable, Notion) accurate and up to date
- Support reporting and recruiting operations to help the team track progress and make data-driven decisions
- Assist with interviewer and hiring manager training logistics
- Jump in on candidate reviews, screens, and/or sourcing to provide extra support during peak hiring seasons
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, recruiting operations, or a related role
- Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
- Familiarity with ATS tools (Greenhouse preferred)
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt quickly to shifting needs
- Familiarity working and scheduling with remote, global time zones
Nice-to-Haves
- Exposure to candidate sourcing and resume/phone screen review
- Experience with Gem, Airtable, Notion, or similar tools

Compensation
We believe in transparency. We are offering a starting hourly rate of $34/hr depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment. As a contractor, this role is not eligible for benefits.

- 45-minute video call with the Recruiting Manager
- 30-minute call with a member of the Recruiting Team
All final candidates will be asked to complete a background check and employment verifications as part of our pre-employment process.
