Customer.io powers automated communication that people actually want to receive. We help teams send smarter, more relevant messages using real-time behavioral data.

We’re looking for a Deal Desk Analyst (Contractor) to support our go-to-market teams as we continue to grow and scale efficiently.

In this role, you’ll help our Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams structure, review, and execute deals that drive predictable, healthy revenue growth. You’ll play a critical part in optimizing our quote-to-close process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment across teams.

You’ll work closely with partners across Revenue Operations, Legal, and Finance to help create a seamless deal experience for both our internal teams and our customers.

What we value

Empathy for revenue teams. You understand the pace and pressure of Sales and Customer Success environments, and you work to make their lives easier through clear processes and responsive support.

Operational excellence. You bring consistency, structure, and precision to deal management while keeping things flexible and human.

Attention to detail. You spot discrepancies others might miss, ensuring deals are accurate, compliant, and aligned with company policies.

Cross-functional collaboration. You build trust and work effectively across teams—balancing the needs of Sales, Finance, Legal, and RevOps.

Analytical mindset. You use data to improve processes, evaluate pricing and discount trends, and make recommendations that strengthen our commercial approach.

Ownership and accountability. You thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities shift and you can make a tangible impact right away.

What you’ll do

  • Review, structure, and approve deals to ensure alignment with pricing strategy, discount policies, and commercial terms.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to navigate non-standard deal requests and provide guidance on approvals.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Legal to ensure contract compliance and a smooth deal execution process.
  • Maintain and improve the quote-to-cash process by identifying bottlenecks and recommending process improvements.
  • Manage and track deal submissions in Salesforce and related tools, ensuring data integrity and accurate reporting.
  • Support revenue forecasting and deal reporting through consistent data hygiene and documentation.
  • Partner with RevOps to maintain and optimize pricing and approval workflows in our systems.
  • Provide extended Sales support during end of month and end of quarter close
  • Provide insights and feedback on deal trends to inform strategic decision-making.

What we're looking for

  • 2–4 years of experience in a Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations role (preferably in SaaS).
  • Strong understanding of deal structures, pricing models, and contract management processes.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce required) and CPQ tools (DealHub).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities with precision.
  • Experience supporting global GTM teams is a plus.
  • Located in the United States and able to work core hours aligned with Eastern Time (EST).

Compensation & Contract Details

This is a contract role (approximately 6 months) with the potential for extension based on business needs and performance. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience. We're offering $40 an hour.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
