The Company has experienced rapid growth over the past 3 years and recently received a strategic investment from Main Street Capital Corporation (NYSE: MAIN). In addition to our recent growth in Federal Civilian agencies, we are seeking to expand our capabilities in cloud development and footprint in national-security focused agencies within the Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community.

Job Summary:

 Supports software applications and systems by investigating, designing, documenting, and implementing new hardware and software. Works with customers and end users to understand requirements, coordinate resources, monitor timelines, and plan, track, and execute project plans. Analyzes user requirements and evaluates work processes. Prepares concepts for information system solutions and evaluates the cost-effectiveness of these concepts.
A seasoned, experienced professional with a complete understanding of a specialized information technology (IT) field plus a working knowledge of other related IT fields. Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. This job is a fully qualified, career-oriented IT professional position. Provides resolutions to diverse, complex problems where data analysis requires evaluating identifiable factors. Contributes to the development of the organization's goals and objectives. Works under limited direction; receives general instructions on new assignments. Work is evaluated upon completion. May provide limited technical direction and/or coordinate activities of other personnel. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Determines approach to solutions, plans schedules, and arranges activities to accomplish objectives..

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Ensure safety and security compliance, maintain required safety and security training, and integrate safety and security into every task.
2. Work collaboratively, providing leadership and mentorship for others.
3. Identify and address productivity impediments and promote work process improvements.
4. Devise logic procedures, flowcharts, and coding to design, develop, analyze, modify, test, debug, and evaluate software to meet functional requirements.
5. Design and implement data migration and system integration strategies.
6. Design and implement automation strategies to improve efficiency and quality.
7. Arrange, prepare, and conduct meetings, workshops, and presentations as required.
8. Provide training and support to end users.
9. Research, assemble, and/or evaluate information or data regarding industry practices or applicable regulatory changes affecting information system policies or programs; recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.
10. Utilize formal Agile and Scrum project management methodologies; gather customer requirements; perform risk management functions; perform capacity and availability planning for computing infrastructure; communicate verbally and in writing at all levels.
11. Foster a mutually respectful and inclusive work environment without discrimination and harassment.

Skills & Work Experience:

• Position typically requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with modern software development methodologies, tools, and processes, including agile frameworks, tools, and techniques.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with programming languages, database design, security strategies, and component integration.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with automation and strategies for achieving DevSecOps.
• Demonstrated knowledge of hardware and software integration and testing.
• Ability to review and understand end-to-end work processes.
• Ability to translate technical terms to layperson's terms and present them to non-technical audiences.
• Skill in working closely with customers and suppliers to define expectations and mutual responsibilities.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL, PL-SQL, T-SQL, Agile Software Development, DevOps, Microsoft SSRS, and SSIS.

Preferred:

• Experience with Microstrategy.
• Experience in developing programming specifications and investigating the feasibility of alternate program design approaches.
• Experience planning and executing complex programming actions to produce interrelated products from diverse data elements.
• Experience developing unique programs, such as critical path analysis programs, to assist in managing special projects.

Clearance: Active DOE-Q clearance required

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Work Location: In-person (This position is Hybrid, geared toward employees who regularly work both onsite and offsite, within a two-hour ground commute of Los Alamos)
