Senior Business Operations Analyst

In addition to our recent growth in Federal Civilian agencies, we are seeking to expand our capabilities in cloud development and footprint in national-security focused agencies within the Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community.
We are seeking a Senior Business Operations Analyst to provide high-level operational and administrative support to a federal client’s Field Operations team.
About this role:
This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, supporting investigative processes, and improving organizational effectiveness across multiple regional and field offices. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with experience navigating federal systems and supporting mission-driven teams in a dynamic environment.
Location:
- Hanover, Maryland and Multiple locations across United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage logistics for mail operations including classified/unclassified package preparation, coordination with carriers (FedEx, UPS, etc.), and mail distribution.
- Lead the planning and execution of internal meetings and training conferences, including space setup, technical coordination, materials preparation, and logistical arrangements.
- Maintain accurate records of government property, perform regular inventory audits, and generate required reports in compliance with agency policies.
- Provide programmatic and investigative support to headquarters and field offices to streamline investigative workflows and alleviate administrative burden on field managers.
- Review and validate Defense Travel System (DTS) submissions for senior leadership and field personnel, ensuring compliance with DoD travel regulations.
- Track and analyze regional performance metrics; prepare and deliver detailed reports to support leadership decision-making.
- Assist in budget tracking and reporting, including quarterly and annual projections related to operational needs (supplies, training, and equipment).
- Support safety and self-inspection processes at designated Federal locations, including planning, documentation, and coordination.
- Coordinate office support services, including equipment repair, custodial needs, and technical support in collaboration with regional staff.
- Manage physical and electronic records and filing systems, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
- Interpret and apply federal policies and procedures; conduct research and provide clear, actionable guidance to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, administrative management, or program support, preferably in a federal environment.
- Strong understanding of federal travel systems (DTS), inventory control, and budget management processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to brief leadership and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and federal systems for travel, logistics, and recordkeeping.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-impact tasks in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
