The Company has experienced rapid growth over the past 3 years and recently received a strategic investment from Main Street Capital Corporation (NYSE: MAIN). In addition to our recent growth in Federal Civilian agencies, we are seeking to expand our capabilities in cloud development and footprint in national-security focused agencies within the Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Analyst to join our team in support of a federal client. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of operational functions across multiple regional and field offices.
About this role:
This position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a deep understanding of federal processes, particularly in investigative support, travel management, and compliance reporting.
Location:
- Hanover, Maryland and Multiple locations across United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support investigative operations by tracking case progress, managing portfolios, and assisting with task coordination across regional and field offices
- Review and validate travel documentation in the Defense Travel System (DTS) prior to supervisor approval
- Monitor and report on quarterly performance metrics for regional teams
- Assist with budget planning and reporting related to office supplies, equipment, and training needs
- Coordinate and support safety and self-inspections, ensuring compliance with internal procedures
- Facilitate support services including equipment maintenance, technical assistance, and custodial coordination
- Maintain and manage electronic and physical records; ensure data accuracy and accessibility
- Interpret and apply operational policies and procedures; communicate guidance clearly across teams
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business operations or administrative support role
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across teams and leadership levels
- Proven experience with federal systems such as DTS or similar travel/financial platforms
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-paced, mission-focused environment
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
