In addition to our recent growth in Federal Civilian agencies, we are seeking to expand our capabilities in cloud development and footprint in national-security focused agencies within the Department of Defense and U.S. Intelligence Community.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Business Operations Analyst 3 to support day-to-day operations within a dynamic federal environment.
About this role:
This position requires a combination of administrative, logistical, and analytical support capabilities. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling sensitive documentation, coordinating office functions, and interacting across multiple departments and stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Location:
- Hanover, Maryland and Multiple locations across United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain both electronic and physical records and files, ensuring accurate data collection and entry.
- Oversee daily office operations, including resolving inventory concerns, replenishing supplies (e.g., printer paper, shredder maintenance), and managing Automated Data Processing (ADP) inventory and office equipment.
- Act as the primary or alternate point of contact for various administrative programs, including travel card coordination, building access and ID badges, roster maintenance, copier programs, asset distribution, vehicle assignments, training programs, and personnel actions related to non-government hiring and employee retirements.
- Interpret and apply DoD and DCSA policies and procedures using research and critical thinking skills, and effectively communicate information both orally and in writing.
- Provide phone and front desk coverage for the designated Division, Directorate, or Office, as needed.
- Support business operations for GG-15 Region Mission Directors (RMDs), Deputy RMDs, and field supervisors/managers, including managing calendars, scheduling and booking travel, and preparing official correspondence such as letters, memos, interoffice communication, metrics, staff summaries, and sensitive/classified reports.
- Assist in the creation and submission of time and attendance reports.
- Use spreadsheets to monitor deadlines, manage workload and facility assignments, and track customer service requests.
- Regularly interact with other DCSA offices, departments, and external government agencies, as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in a business operation, program support, or administrative role.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a high-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfort with data entry and document management systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience supporting executive-level leadership and interacting with internal/external agencies is a plus.
