FP&A Analyst
About Cybrid
Cybrid is a Series A fintech startup building the next generation of crypto-powered global payments infrastructure. Our platform enables fintechs, banks, and enterprises to launch compliant, scalable, and global payment solutions with one API. We bridge the gap between traditional financial rails and blockchain-native payments, helping partners launch faster, bank faster, and pay faster using stablecoins and Bitcoin.
With deep expertise across crypto, security, banking, and payments, our team has scaled fintech platforms before and now we’re taking the Cybrid platform worldwide.
The Opportunity
We are hiring an FP&A Analyst to kickstart our FP&A motion. You’ll build and maintain our budget and forecasts, run variance analyses, and turn data into insights for leadership and the Board. You will also wear a light RevOps/BizOps hat, owning cross-functional metrics and ensuring our KPI definitions and dashboards are consistent, trusted, and actionable.
This is a rare chance to join an early-stage fintech and build the forecasting and KPI engine that will shape our growth.
What You’ll Do
Core FP&A
- Build, maintain, and iterate the annual plan and rolling forecasts
- Own monthly variance analysis (actuals vs. plan) with driver-based commentary
- Partner with Head of Finance to translate insights for the CEO/leadership and Board
- Support strategic models (pricing, unit economics, runway, hiring plans, new products)
- Prepare Board/investor materials (financials, KPIs, narrative)
RevOps / BizOps (cross-functional)
- Support and maintain an organizational KPI dictionary
- Work with Data Engineer to build and maintain dashboards across all functions
- Design lightweight data flows between CRM, billing, data warehouse, and the model
- Support scenario analyses as necessary
Process & Systems
- Shorten close-to-reporting cycle in partnership with Accounting; automate data pulls
- Implement version control and auditability for models and KPI definitions
- Help evaluate/implement FP&A tooling as we scale
What You Bring
Required Skills & Experience
- 3 - 5 years in FP&A or data-driven finance roles
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data, or similar
- Expert spreadsheet modeling skills (driver-based, scenario/sensitivity, cohort, unit economics)
- SQL proficiency
- Strong financial storytelling: clear, concise exec-ready slides and memos
- Solid grasp of SaaS/fintech metrics (ARR/MRR, NDR, churn, CAC/LTV, gross margin)
- Some experience partnering cross-functionally
Nice to Have
- Fintech, payments, or blockchain industry experience
- Experience working at a high-growth startup/scaleup
- CPA or equivalent experience
- Exposure to IFRS concepts and working with Accounting during close
- BI/dashboarding experience
- Automation/scripting knowledge (e.g. Python) to clean data and automate reports
Success in This Role Looks Like
- Accurate, driver-based forecasts and clear monthly variance narratives delivered timely
- Trusted KPI dashboards with clearly defined metrics
- Automated reports replacing manual spreadsheets
- Board package with crisp financials and metrics
The salary range for this position is CAD $110,000-$125,000. The final offer will be determined by education, experience, qualifications, and skills as they relate to this role.
