We are seeking a TS/SCI cleared DevOps Engineer to join us in Springfield, VA, to support our vital intelligence customer.

Your Day-to-Day Impact:

Architect & Optimize: Design DevSecOps solutions for both new and existing IT systems, blending development, security, and operations into cohesive workflows.

Code & Deploy: Own the CI/CD pipelines, managing code builds, automated testing, security scans, and smooth deployments across Dev, Staging, and Operational environments.

Infrastructure Mastery: Implement Infrastructure as Code practices, manage system configurations, and create Helm charts for seamless resource deployment on OpenShift.

Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of security threats, patch systems, and ensure compliance with security standards, all while documenting and refining system architecture.
Skills & Qualifications You Bring to the Table:

Experience: 5-8+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with a strong foundation in systems engineering or IT.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field—or 3+ years of additional relevant experience.

Technical Expertise: Proficiency with Linux OS, CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.), and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Programming Skills: Experience with Python, Bash, and other scripting languages to create and improve systems tooling.

Container & Cloud Knowledge: Expertise with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and containerization, as well as Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

Security Focused: Comfortable with security scanning, patching, and ensuring compliance through code and system updates.

Database Management: Experience deploying, managing, and interacting with databases using SQL and ORMs.

Clearance: Must hold a TS/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph.
Nice-to-Have Extras:

Familiarity with configuration management, network security, and agile delivery techniques.

Relevant technical certifications (Network+, Security+, Oracle, etc.).

Experience with NGA enterprise products or system engineering.
