Mission Hardware Engineer
**ACTIVE TS/SCI w/CI POLY SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED**
As a Mission Hardware Engineer, you will provide installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support of information systems and related peripheral hardware to a mission critical program.
- Screen, refer and diagnose internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of computers and related systems
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software
- Provide end-user hardware and software troubleshooting and support
- Replace network and fiber cable
- Decommission old systems
- Install, configure, and maintain VTCs, TVs, and phone systems
- Coordinate development of deliverables and products
- Must be able to track project studies, plans, action items, etc.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies assigned
- Participate in special projects as required
What you need:
- BA/BS (or equivalent experience) and related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience
- 3+ years of directly related experience:
- Unix and Windows operations systems
- Understanding of remote VoIP administration
- Experience with conferencing system configuration
- Knowledge of CAT5, CAT6 and copper Termination requirements - Familiarity with telephone testing and installation equipment
- TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Required
- Must possess appropriate and current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification to be considered for employment; either CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), OR CCNA-Security. CompTIA Security+ CE is the preferred certification. In addition, must attain the required DoD 8570 Computing Environment (CE) Certification within six (6) months of Hire Date.
As part of your role/function on the program, you will be granted privileged user access. Privileged Users are subject to greater scrutiny as a direct result of the significant responsibilities placed upon them. Please be aware that because of these critical duties, you will be subject to additional IT system monitoring, and supervisory evaluation to ensure continuous adherence to Privileged User processes and procedures. Privileged Users are subject to a zero-tolerance policy for security violations.

- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $90-95k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
