We’re seeking a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Engineer to help lead the design, build, and optimization of high-performance virtual desktop environments. This is more than just a tech role—it’s a chance to contribute to cutting-edge solutions that power critical government missions.

What You'll Do:

• Lead architecture, design, and advanced (Tier 3/4) support for large-scale Citrix VDI environments

• Diagnose and resolve complex system and performance issues in Citrix environments

• Optimize desktop delivery across platforms, endpoints, and global teams

• Automate tasks and improve system efficiency through scripting and engineering best practices

• Drive architectural decisions and performance improvements through analysis and innovation

• Ensure interoperability between Citrix technologies and adjacent platforms (Hyper-V, VMware, NetScaler, etc.)

• Collaborate across engineering, security, and operations teams in a secure, fast-paced environment

What You Bring:

Must-Haves:

• U.S. Citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance

• 5+ years of VDI engineering experience (or equivalent education)

• Deep expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (v7.15+), PVS, MCS, and Citrix Cloud CVAD

• Hands-on experience with Citrix App Layering, WEM, and Liquidware ProfileUnity

• Strong knowledge of Citrix NetScaler/ADC/VPX, VMware, and/or Hyper-V

• Clear track record progressing from Admin to Senior Engineer roles

• Strong communication and documentation skills

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with Windows Server clustering, Active Directory, and GPO management

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Ansible or Terraform

• Experience with VMware vCenter 6.7 and System Center VMM

• Background in profile management, provisioning, and automation frameworks

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $145k-155k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
