We're seeking a TS/SCI-cleared Systems Administrator to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA. If you're ready to apply your technical skills in a high-impact environment, we want to hear from you.


What You’ll Do: How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Systems Administrator focused on Mobile/Personal IT Devices (PITD), you’ll support the User-Facing and Data Center Services (UDS) mission by delivering real-time, mobile communication solutions. Your work will support Continuity of Operations, First Response, Crisis Support, and global mission-critical activities — both CONUS and OCONUS.

You'll work hands-on with a range of devices including:

  • Laptops, Tablets, iPads

  • Mobile Thin Clients, Smartphones, Flip Phones

  • Secure Wireless Devices, Hot Spots, RSA Tokens


Key Responsibilities

Operations & Sustainment

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for all PITD devices, covering full lifecycle from issuance to decommission.

  • Maintain asset inventory, manage device issuance/return, and support recapitalization efforts.

  • Interact with vendors to support hardware lifecycle and resolve technical issues.

Customer Service & Support

  • Deliver high-quality support to walk-in users at the PITD Store.

  • Respond to customer inquiries, phone calls, and service requests with professionalism and empathy.

  • Resolve technical issues quickly, collaborating across teams to deliver a seamless support experience.

Software & Hardware

  • Image laptops and install specialized software following standardized procedures.

  • Configure smartphones with unclassified email and essential applications.

  • Provision RSA tokens to employees and contractors to ensure secure system access.

Mobile Device Management (MDM)

  • Monitor and manage mobile devices for compliance and functionality.

  • Oversee the AT&T account, ensuring correct features are enabled, minimizing excessive charges and unauthorized use.

Asset Management

  • Accurately process hardware requests and maintain asset records.

  • Track IT assets across their lifecycle, supporting sustainment and end-of-life transitions.

Records Management

  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation of IT assets, user accounts, and security-related records.


What You Bring

  • Security Certification: DoD 8140 – CompTIA Security+ (required)

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or 2+ years of relevant system administration experience

  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with willingness to undergo polygraph

Technical Skills:

  • Solid Windows OS administration experience

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Experience with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially under pressure

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy

  • Excellent communication—able to explain technical issues to non-technical users

  • Highly organized and efficient at task prioritization

  • Energetic, professional, and customer-focused demeanor

Additional Information

  • Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $122k-132k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
