Preventative Maintenance (PM) Sales Representative

Position Overview
We are looking for a driven and proactive sales professional to grow our preventative maintenance (PM) service business by identifying and securing new service contracts. This role focuses on developing new customer relationships, building a strong sales pipeline, and converting opportunities into long-term recurring revenue. This position is well-suited for someone who is early in their sales career or looking to transition into a more consultative, relationship-driven sales role, with the ambition to develop within a growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for preventative maintenance service contracts
- Build and manage a pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and outbound outreach
- Conduct customer meetings and site visits to understand equipment, needs, and service requirements
- Develop and present tailored PM proposals and service agreements
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to contract close
- Follow up consistently on proposals and opportunities to drive conversion
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with new customers
- Work closely with service and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and execution
- Track all sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts
- Meet or exceed sales targets and activity expectations
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of sales, customer-facing, or business development experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with prospecting and developing new business
- Eagerness to learn technical service offerings if unfamiliar (training provided)
- Organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
