Your Future Job 

We are seeking a Brand Manager to oversee on a temporary basis our Cheese and Cream Cheese lines. Responsibilities include executing marketing plans, managing budgets, and analyzing consumption data. Key initiatives involve 2025 planning, project execution, and commercialization of new products. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and analytical skills, with a background in brand management. 

What will you do 

  • Day-to-Day Management: Oversee the daily operations and strategic planning for the Cheese and Cream Cheese product lines, ensuring smooth execution of business activities. 
  • Planning and Execution: 
    • 25 Planning: Develop comprehensive marketing plans and Annual Operating Plans (AOP) for Cheese and Cream Cheese. This includes creating marketing tactical plans, managing the AOP topline and budget, and identifying learning objectives and needs.
    • Cheese 2H (second half) Execution & Measurement: Implement and measure the success of the Cheese business plan for the second half of the year.
    • Internal Project Commercialization & Cream Cheese Marketing Plan: Lead the commercialization efforts for Internal Project and develop marketing plans for Cream Cheese. 
  • Analytics and Consumption: 
    • Ongoing Consumption & Analytics: Manage and analyze consumption data, and oversee Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) to support business decisions and performance tracking.
    • Line Review Support: Assist with the upcoming Cheese and Cream Cheese line reviews, providing insights and recommendations. 

Your Background 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing or five (5) years of related experience in progressive Marketing and business partnerships or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.  
  • Proven experience in brand management, preferably within the food or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.

  • Strong skills in strategic planning, budget management, and project execution.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, consumption tracking, and performance measurement.
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing plans and manage cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to working with teams. 

Compensation, Benefits & Perks 

  • Daiya offers a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. For this temporary position, the hourly pay range is $40.00 - $55.00, depending on location, experience, and internal equity. This is a 2-month contract role. In addition to the hourly rate, you will receive a 6% vacation pay on each paycheck.
