Communications Coordinator - Contract

The Communications Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily operations of the Communications/PR team and assists in 2026 marketing planning. Working closely with the Director of Digital Engagement, this role manages tasks such as PR agency coordination, web updates, influencer/editor relations, and internal communications. By overseeing these operational responsibilities, the coordinator ensures efficient execution, contributing to cohesive brand messaging and organizational goals.
This is a contract position with a duration of six (6) months.
What You Will Do
Marketing Campaign Coordination & Strategy
- Assist in developing and maintaining integrated marketing campaign calendars (annual/quarterly) and activity grids.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Brand, Innovation, Sales) to align messaging and identify integration opportunities across channels.
- Oversee logistics for PR activities, including product briefings, approvals, reporting, and managing influencer/editor shipments and content reviews.
- Monitor social media performance, influencer ROI, and track key performance metrics for ongoing optimization.
PR & Communications Management
- Coordinate weekly status meetings with external PR agencies, ensuring deliverables are met and managing feedback loops.
- Review press materials, including press releases and talking points, and escalate sensitive content to senior leadership.
- Monitor PR inbox, addressing media inquiries and escalating complex requests as needed.
- Draft and submit award applications, maintain award calendars, and gather necessary assets for recognition.
Website & Digital Content Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external web agencies, ensuring timely updates and content alignment with brand standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure website copy and product information is accurate and current.
- Collect input from internal teams (Brand, Innovation, Sales) to develop content for PR pitches, websites, and marketing materials.
Analytics, Compliance & Administrative Support
- Support analytics efforts by compiling social media, influencer, and PR performance data, summarizing results for internal reports.
- Route content for regulatory approvals, ensuring compliance with brand and legal standards.
- Manage product requests, shipments, and maintain databases for press contacts, influencer partnerships, and coverage tracking.
- Organize meeting logistics, document feedback, and track action items for alignment with brand priorities.
Your Background
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing, PR, or communications, with a focus on campaign coordination and digital media.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, influencer engagement, and performance tracking.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., Brand, Sales, Innovation) to execute integrated marketing strategies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools, PR management platforms, and content management systems (CMS).
What You Bring
- Seamless Operational Execution: Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily Communications/PR tasks, including PR inbox management, social media posting, and influencer/editor product dispatches.
- Integrated Marketing Campaign Support: Collaborate cross-functionally to plan, optimize, and measure PR initiatives within integrated marketing campaigns for both 2025 and 2026.
- Brand & Governance Alignment: Maintain brand consistency and regulatory compliance through regular brand/comms reviews and ensure aligned messaging internally and externally.
- Website & Digital Maintenance: Oversee website updates, content refreshes, and troubleshooting with external web agency to ensure brand accuracy and minimal downtime.
- Effective Collaboration & Communication: Act as the central point of contact for internal teams, external PR agencies, and partners, ensuring smooth workflows, timely award submissions, and cohesive brand communication across all channels.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks
Daiya’s compensation offerings are based on a pay-for-performance philosophy. The pay range for this position is from $50,000 – 65,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Permanent team members may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
