SUMMARY
As a Junior Production Designer at Daiya, you’ll support the accuracy, consistency, and polish of packaging and brand materials across the business. You’ll manage versioning, apply updates to packaging, and prepare files for print. You’ll also support select digital and brand needs, maintaining visual consistency across channels. This role offers an opportunity to build foundational expertise in packaging, production, and CPG design workflows — with mentorship and room to grow into more complex adaptations and brand tasks over time.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and update packaging across SKU lines with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Apply regulatory, legal, and translation updates to packaging layouts.
- Maintain rock-solid version control, consistent file naming, archive organization and revision history management for packaging and artwork updates.
- Resize and adapt designs across packaging, print, e-commerce and digital assets as required.
- Prep clean, production-ready files for vendors and print partners.
- Support digital and brand tasks such as cropping, resizing, and layout cleanups.
- Collaborate with the Graphic Designer, Creative Director and cross-functional team to ensure accuracy, brand alignment, and timely delivery.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 2+ years of professional experience in graphic or production design.
- Experience working with packaging artwork and/or print production preferred.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Familiarity with print processes, dielines, and supplier workflows.
- Portfolio showcasing clean production work, layout precision, attention to detail and ability to work across formats.
RELATED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Comfortable handling high-volume packaging/updates in CPG environment, meeting tight deadlines.
- Familiar with pre-press setup and packaging specifications and final print checks.
- Proactive, reliable, and comfortable adapting to shifting priorities.
- Strong communication habits and eagerness to learn.

Daiya’s compensation offerings are based on a pay-for-performance philosophy. The pay range for this position is from $50,000–$65,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
