Channel Sales Executive — Somerville, Arlington or Denver

We’re looking for a Channel Sales Executive to grow Dandelion’s network of Authorized Installer partners who buy our proprietary heat pumps and drilling services. In this role, you will research the geothermal and HVAC market, generate prospects through your own efforts, close deals with Authorized Installers, and manage the relationship to maximize sales from the Authorized Installers you close.

Your expertise, drive, and creativity will be essential to develop Dandelion’s network of Authorized Installers and build a new line of business.

Today, geothermal makes up less than 1% of the US heating and cooling market, though it’s the most efficient and sustainable solution. The opportunity ahead is virtually limitless. The right person for this job will be driven by this big picture opportunity and ready to roll up his/her sleeves and do the hard work to crack this market open!

What you’ll do in this role:

  • Develop prospect lists through market research, networking, and other self-generation efforts.
  • Turn prospects into real sales opportunities through creative account-based selling techniques.
  • Close Authorized Dealers with a commitment to purchase Dandelion’s heat pumps and/or drilling services.
  • Run account kick-offs and business reviews to drive Authorized Installers’ satisfaction and to increase the amount of Dandelion’s product and services they offer.
  • Develop a strategy to meet or exceed your personal sales quota.
  • Report on your pipeline and forecast your results accurately. To enable this, practice good sales hygiene in our CRM and business systems.
  • Be the voice of the customer. Work cross-functionally to meet and exceed your Authorized Installers’ expectations every time and develop new internal processes to better support sales in the future.

Experience sought: 

  • Prior B2B sales success, preferably in the construction or energy sectors.
  • Demonstrated lead generation experience building a pipeline by generating your own leads. You’re not afraid to cold call!
  • Prior success meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ongoing relationship management: Proven ability to nurture and grow relationships with existing partners or customers to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Customer satisfaction focus: Experience conducting account business reviews, managing partner expectations, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Strategic partnership development: Demonstrated success in deepening engagement with business partners or clients through tailored solutions and ongoing collaboration.
  • Software and technology fluidity. Experience onboarding and working with electronic communication platforms, spreadsheets, CRMs, project management platforms, etc.  
  • General understanding of the residential housing industry, HVAC industry, construction industry and process, and regulatory environment.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

Compensation: OTE: $160K; 50% base / 50% commission
