Solution Architect
Dark Wolf Solutions is seeking a Solution Architect to support the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS). The Solution Architect will champion the design and implementation of cutting-edge solutions for our clients. This individual will be a pivotal force in shaping complex IT landscapes, ensuring resilience, scalability, and alignment with strategic objectives. This role is a prime opportunity for a driven architectural leader to hone their skills in solution engineering, enterprise architecture, and strategic planning within a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide critical expertise in all deliverables including to system requirements, Solution Engineering, and System Design Documentation.
- Study complex IT organizations to generate and track requirements across the lifecycle of an organization through road maps, project plans, and collaboration technologies.
- Lead solution engineering, analysis of alternatives, and system design, including database design.
- Discover and report discrepancies between the enterprise architecture, IT strategy, and the system designs, and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Communicate across customer management infrastructure and other stakeholders to educate end users and decision makers on the importance of software development lifecycle documentation and rationale.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7 years of relevant experience minimum.
- US Citizenship required with an active Secret clearance or interim Secret clearance.
The estimated salary range is $140,000.00 - $175,000.00, commensurate on experience, technical expertise, certifications, and clearance level.
Primary work location is the Washington DC Metro area.
