About the Role:

Dashlane is seeking a B2B-focused social media manager to lead our organic social and community management program. As credential security becomes vital for businesses worldwide, we’re looking for someone that lives and breathes social, and can further accelerate our growing social presence. The Senior Social Media Manager is responsible for managing Dashlane’s external voice across platforms. This role will develop and execute our social media strategy, create engaging content, foster a strong online community as part of the broader Global Corporate Communications and Marketing team, and oversee day-to-day community management across platforms.

With Dashlane’s mission to provide complete credential security to businesses worldwide, you’ll be focused on growing brand awareness and trust with IT and security leaders, while also being an ally to our loyal user base. Dashlane protects both businesses and consumers, so you’ll need experience talking to a technical crowd and simplifying complex topics.

Location:

You will be based in our NYC office in a hybrid capacity with 3 days in our office. You can also be based in the Boston Area. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a holistic social media strategy in service of Dashlane’s marketing goals
  • Create and deploy engaging content across our various social media platforms
  • Lead day-to-day social posting and community management, including customer troubleshooting and issue handling (particularly on Reddit), in close partnership with our customer success team and subject matter experts
  • Set the social plan and editorial calendar for product launches, brand campaigns, events, reports and other integrated marketing moments
  • Lead social metrics tracking and reporting to Dashlane leadership
  • Work closely with paid social media team as part of overall marketing strategy
  • Continuously seek ways to enhance the impact of our social media presence
  • Advise Dashlane leadership on overall social best practices and content

Requirements:

  • Four or more years of B2B tech experience is a must, with experience marketing to IT leaders
  • Expert in platform-specific strategy, content creation, and message prioritization
  • Proven track record of building brand awareness and engagement with IT leaders
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency with social publishing and analytics tools
  • Proactive self-starter with a bias for action
  • Experience using data to refine and optimize social media efforts
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects

We’re also looking for:

  • A fast learner with a hunger to learn a new business and product
  • Self-starter that will take ownership of the social program and proactively drive its success
  • An ability to adapt to change quickly, operating with minimal process and structure
  • An understanding of how social media fits into a company’s overall marketing strategy
  • Ability to write compelling, on-brand copy with a strong understanding of storytelling
  • Basic knowledge of visual design
  • Experience in security is a plus

Salary Range:  $130,000 - $152,000  in base salary

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of total compensation package that also includes benefits, and other opportunities at Dashlane. 

Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Dashlaners.  We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Dashlane to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
