About the role

As a Server Software Engineer, you will own the design and implementation of core backend solutions that directly impact our business growth and partner onboarding ecosystems. You will work in a highly collaborative environment alongside Senior and Staff engineers who provide continuous mentorship, while partnering closely with product managers, project managers, and quality engineering teams. The Setup & Rollout team is currently focused on optimizing administrative workflows and scaling system integrations to ensure smooth deployments. Over your first 12 months, you will build full autonomy across all features and codebase areas you contribute to.

In this role, you will combine strong backend expertise with a forward-thinking AI mindset, integrating GenAI tools throughout the SDLC to accelerate development velocity while working in a deeply collaborative team to secure millions of digital identities.

Location-Specific Information:

You will be based in Paris, with English as your working language. About our tech stack:

• Programming languages: NodeJS, Typescript

• Infrastructure and storage layer: AWS EC2, AWS Nitro (confidential computing), Amazon ECS, MySQL on RDS Aurora, Redis, S3

• CI/CD: Gitlab, Terraform

• Logging and monitoring: ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Datadog

• AI : Claude Code

At Dashlane you will:

• Develop strategic third-party partner integrations and AI-assisted tools within our administrative console to drive company expansion.

• Pair with fellow engineers and collaborate across product, project, and quality engineering teams to deliver stable, high-impact features.

• Modernize legacy server-side systems that handle identity management, user provisioning, and corporate onboarding workflows.

• Participate in and propose cross-team initiatives aimed at improving engineering efficiency and team culture.

• Continuously learn modern technologies and share technical knowledge across the organization through mentorship and documentation.

• Work in a highly collaborative environment where everyone shares ownership of the company's success.

• Participate in product and technical design discussions to define the best solutions.

• Implement backend projects from end-to-end: write clean code, easy to maintain and understand, implement tests, and manage deployment.

• You will lean on AI coding platforms like Claude Code to streamline this lifecycle, driving development velocity while maintaining high code quality.

• Manage the quality of our application: monitor cloud applications, KTLO.

• Learn every day, and share your knowledge with your co-workers.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software development experience
  
  
• 3+ years of backend application development experience
  
  
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
  
  
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS or equivalent hyperscaler
  
  
• Experience working in agile product development teams
  
  
• Ability to not only write code, but also deploy, test, and monitor cloud applications
  
  
• Strong commitment to application quality and security
  
  
• AI Fluency: comfortable leveraging AI tools to streamline software engineering tasks and everyday workflows
  
  
• Fluent in English (the team is international)
