The Role: 

Datacor summer interns will participate in an approximately 2-month program, with a defined assignment that may include IT (Development, Operations, IT Security etc.), Products (support), or Sales. Interns will be matched based on their interest and the needs of the business.  

During the program, interns will work on meaningful assignments that will grow their knowledge of the business and technical skills, while supporting Datacor on our 2025 priorities. Interns will collaborate closely with internal team members to understand their business requirements, assignment details, etc. In this program, interns will be mentored by experts and work directly on projects that create real business impact and gain invaluable professional experience. In addition to project work, interns will participate in networking discussions with leaders and workshops to focus on specific professional skills that interns will put to use during their internship.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Balance of daily responsibilities with project-work 
  • Daily responsibilities will be aligned to the team/assignment description but may include: 
    • Software Development: Help write code for new features or bug fixes under the guidance of senior developers 
    • Application Support: Conduct thorough testing and validation of reports to ensure accuracy and reliability; analyze report data and provide insights to support decision-making processes 
    • Products: Assist with research, support testing of new features, solicit feedback from existing users/customers to discover pain points and opportunities to improve or expand our product 
    • IT Security: pilot/test new initiatives to support ongoing data security enhancements 
    • Revenue Operations/Business Development: Work with various areas of Sales and Marketing to support business development activities, data accuracy, and operational analysis 
  • Work on small, well-defined tasks to build confidence and practical skills
  • Have opportunities to ask questions and learn from experienced professionals/developers
  • Participate in intern program events including workshops, speaker series, and report-out presentation 

Qualifications 

  • Currently enrolled as a sophomore or junior in college/university (rising junior/senior during summer 2025 intern program)
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0  
  • Experience in a professional environment, including prior internship experience is preferred 
  • Candidates should possess strong problem-solving and analytic skills  
  • Excellent communication skills are required, with a willingness to engage directly with team members, customers, leaders, etc.  
  • Technology is constantly evolving, so it is important for the intern to have a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations  

This is a remote internship with potential in-person gatherings, depending on location.
