
Partner Sales Director

The work of bringing in new partners—identifying the right fit, onboarding them, and guiding them through those first joint wins—is a different motion from managing mature, established relationships.
As a Partner Sales Director you will focus on building the NEW partner motion and accelerating time it takes from legal agreement to sourcing opportunities to Dataiku and first joint win.
How might we:
- Partner TO: scale the outbound motion focused on driving awareness and engagement with target prospective partners—bringing them into active conversations with Dataiku.
- Partner THROUGH: enable new partners to independently drive business development—engaging joint prospects and customers using the toolkit and assets provided by Dataiku.
- Partner WITH build early joint relationships and trust between GTM teams (Sales, Marketing) and partners, with a focus on account mapping, co-planning, and shared offers—leading to first joint wins.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Drive partner research and identify partner fit and targets based on parameters of joint right to win.
- Execute the recruitment plan for the designated regions, covering various partner types and routes to market.
- Collaborate with Partner Enablement, Partner Strategy & Programs, Partner Marketing to develop joint strategies and priorities to scale and accelerate. Drive cross-functional alignment and prioritization to a plan.
- Own the path to revenue and pipeline growth for the ‘new partner’ segment.
- Co-lead test and learning of new routes to market in the field (ie Reseller, Distributors).
- Contribute to the coordination of the development of industry-specific and departmental-specific solutions with partners, aligning with their areas of expertise, and supporting in creating sales plays to apply these solutions in joint sales motions.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders across various business functions, including Sales, Marketing, Global Services, Customer Success, and Product.
- Cultivate executive relationships with the leadership of key developing partners across the region, facilitating partner engagement with other members of the Dataiku leadership team.
- Represent Dataiku at industry events, embodying and upholding Dataiku’s core values.
Success Profile:
- 5+ years experience in developing partnerships and revenue-generating partner relationships.
- Experience in big data, analytics, data science, BI/DW, data integration, AI, etc.
- Strong belief in a customer-centric selling philosophy and applying a consultative approach in customer/partner interactions.
- Background in positioning innovative solutions.
- Strong ability to develop joint value propositions with partners and to cultivate champions within partner organizations.
- Ability to articulate competitive positioning and differentiation.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and business planning skills.
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with the ability to adapt to change.
- Invitation to be BOLD.
- Strong social, outreach and brand building for Dataiku but also as the ‘recognized’ influencer to attract new partners to Dataiku
- Strong sales and program management ethos: trust building, coaching, partnering with Sales SVP to AEs.
The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training. Eligible roles may also be entitled to receive commission or other variable compensation through Dataiku's incentive compensation program.

$165,000 - $185,000 USD
