Role Summary

Dataiku is looking for a Solutions Consultant specialized in Retail and CPG with deep expertise in Supply Chain to join Dataiku's Business Solutions team. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert for Retail and CPG, fueling the development of data, analytics, and AI solutions relevant to firms in that space — from concept to design to go-to-market.

Your role will be key in supporting the accelerated development of Dataiku in the Retail and CPG space and partnering with firms across the industry on their ambitious transformation trajectories. Your mission will run in tight partnership with all of Dataiku's key teams: Sales, Customer, Partnership, Product, and R&D.

Core Responsibilities

Retail & CPG Subject Matter Expertise
  • Articulate Dataiku's specific value proposition for Retail and CPG firms, and enable internal and external-facing teams to communicate it effectively.
  • Create materials that develop our vision on how Dataiku can help Retail and CPG firms address business and organizational challenges through Data and AI, with a primary focus on Supply Chain and a secondary focus on Marketing and Customer Care.
  • Support the capitalization of internal knowledge and client experiences in the Retail and CPG space — adoption stories, use-cases — by developing relevant material to share internally and externally.
  • Support sales and customer activities targeting Retail and CPG firms; act as a key spokesperson with prospects and customers, and support executive engagement on this client segment.
  • Boost Dataiku's visibility as a compelling thought-partner with Retail and CPG firms.
  • Collaborate with other Industry Subject Matter Experts to expand our collective impact.
Supply Chain Project & Demo Delivery
  • Identify gaps and priorities in our existing assets (demos, solutions, applications) and define the associated roadmap.
  • Build relevant project demos in Dataiku, tailored to specific Supply Chain personas.
  • Identify impactful datasets to adapt demos and solutions to different customer contexts.
  • Update and create go-to-market materials related to Supply Chain projects or solutions (slides, website content, blog posts, etc.).
  • Tailor existing Business Solutions or presentations to specific Supply Chain functions, with a focus on logistics (e.g. warehouse optimization, dynamic slotting, route optimization, fleet predictive maintenance).
Solutions Development
  • Fuel and qualify the solutions development pipeline through business experience, client workshops, market research, partnership discussions, and more.
  • Work with the solutions team (Product, R&D, UX, Partnerships, Data Scientists, and others) to ensure prompt development of relevant projects, including off-the-shelf solution design, customer-specific co-builds, and partnership launches.
  • Act as business and project lead for these initiatives, supporting smooth project management, ensuring alignment with all internal teams, and managing critical dependencies.
  • Support a global push for existing and new solutions by structuring documents, enabling internal teams, leading customer interactions, and building go-to-market materials.

Required Qualifications

Experience & Background
  • 7–10 years of experience within Retail & CPG roles in the AI space, with a proven track record of delivering and implementing end-to-end AI-embedded solutions for supply chain.
  • Deep understanding of the Retail & CPG value chain and associated AI use cases, with a specific focus on supply chain and marketing/customer functions.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain tools, functions, and their associated AI capabilities, needs, and pain points.
  • Strong business acumen and successful experience tackling challenging transformation topics.
  • Experience working within or in direct support of Go-To-Market and leadership teams.
Skills & Competencies
  • Proven track record of delivering data, analytics, and AI projects in the Supply Chain area, with a hands-on approach.
  • Track record of collaborating effectively with Data Scientists.
  • Able to create detailed recommendations and offer clear guidance, while also being willing to build and deliver projects directly.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse teams and successfully engage them on complex or specialized topics.
  • Very strong project management skills, capable of orchestrating multiple projects simultaneously while supporting associated teams.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to clearly articulate and present complex situations and concepts to varied audiences.
  • Open to new ideas and topics; capable of quickly deep-diving into unfamiliar subjects to qualify or discard them as needed.
  • Based on the US East Coast, with willingness to travel within the region and internationally (~10% of the time).

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
