The Deal Desk Manager will bring a wealth of experience to lead and optimize deal structures, providing guidance and recommendations to the Sales team. Responsibilities will encompass overseeing the entire internal deal process, fostering a collaborative approach, and ensuring effective support between multiple teams throughout the deal cycle.
Responsibilities include:
- Direct Management of Deal Desk resources
- Lead and manage quotes and pricing approvals.
- Ensure the seamless and efficient movement of deals through the sales process.
- Verify and validate accuracy of signed paperwork for booking (Order Documents, Purchase Orders…)
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to guarantee accurate creation and tracking of opportunities in Salesforce.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., VP Sales, Legal, Revenue Accounting, Finance, Product) to ensure deals comply with accounting requirements and internal processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact to coordinate, address, and resolve any tools or contracts-related issues.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the sales team on complex deal-related matters.
- Ensure on time deal closure, specifically during focused Quarter end periods
- Drive strategic projects and initiatives focused on enhancing productivity and simplifying processes throughout the sales cycle.
- Partnering with Analytics teams to maintain and improve data quality in Sales systems (Salesforce, Ironclad etc…) and perform monthly reconciliation
- Contribute significantly to the efficient onboarding of new Account Executives (AEs) in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactively engage with relevant sales teams to early engage on complex and high-value deals.
Success Profile:
- Proven managerial experience in Deal Desk operations, including proficient spreadsheet and systems management, particularly in Salesforce.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced business environment with an international focus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Adaptability to frequent changes in products, policies, procedures, and team composition.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exhibit good judgment, and provide leadership in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement, Detail oriented
- Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training. Eligible roles may also be entitled to receive commission or other variable compensation through Dataiku's incentive compensation program.

$130,000 - $135,000 USD
