This is more than managing a design team. It's an opportunity to define how one of the most innovative enterprise AI companies expresses itself across every experience, campaign, event, story, and interaction. You'll help determine how customers experience Dataiku. How prospects discover us. How analysts, partners, investors, and employees experience our brand. How we create memorable moments on stage, online, in product, and in person.

Earlier this year, we introduced a refreshed Dataiku brand, modernizing our visual identity and positioning to reflect the next chapter of our company. Now we're looking for a creative leader who will continue bringing that brand to life consistently, thoughtfully, and boldly across every touchpoint.

This role will help shape the next phase of our Design organization as we continue to grow, expanding capabilities, embracing new technologies, and ensuring design remains a strategic advantage for the business. If you're excited about building teams, elevating brands, and exploring how AI can enhance creative work, we'd love to meet you.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the VP of Brand & Corporate Marketing, you'll lead our global Design team and partner closely with Brand, Communications, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Events, Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership.

You'll balance strategic brand leadership with hands-on creative direction while helping evolve our Design organization – with members in the US and Europe – to support the next phase of Dataiku's growth.

What You'll Do

Shape How Dataiku Shows Up in the World

You'll help ensure every expression of the Dataiku brand feels thoughtful, cohesive, modern, and unmistakably Dataiku.

This includes:

  • Continuing to apply and evolve our recently refreshed global brand
  • Maintaining and expanding our design system across marketing and corporate assets
  • Ensuring consistency across campaigns, digital experiences, events, presentations, web, social media, and customer communications
  • Raising the overall quality and craft of everything we create

Lead a High-Performing Design Team

You'll lead, mentor, and inspire a talented global team while helping create an environment where designers can do the best work of their careers.

You'll:

  • Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of designers
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, curiosity, and continuous learning
  • Improve creative workflows and project intake
  • Balance priorities across a fast-moving global business
  • Support career development and coaching across the team

Partner Across Marketing

You'll collaborate closely with Brand, Communications, Product Marketing, and Growth Marketing to develop creative that supports every stage of the customer journey.

This includes work across:

  • Brand campaigns
  • Product launches
  • Digital advertising
  • Paid social
  • Account-based marketing
  • Out-of-home campaigns
  • Website experiences
  • Customer marketing
  • Executive presentations
  • Sales enablement
  • Research reports and ebooks
  • Social media

You'll help determine when work is best executed internally and when agency support is the right solution.

Bring the Brand to Life Through Experiences

You'll partner with our Events and Brand teams to create memorable brand experiences across:

  • Dataiku Succeed in the U.S. and Europe
  • Industry conferences and sponsorships
  • Pop-up hospitality experiences
  • Executive keynote presentations
  • Sales Kickoff
  • Internal company events
  • Customer and partner experiences

Continue Building Our Brand Experience

You'll explore opportunities to expand how customers and employees experience the Dataiku brand beyond traditional marketing.

This includes supporting initiatives such as:

  • Branded merchandise collections
  • Company store experiences
  • Event merchandise
  • Environmental branding
  • Creative standards across physical and digital experiences

Help Expand Video & Motion Capabilities

As video becomes increasingly important to our marketing strategy, you'll partner with Marketing leadership to help evolve our creative capabilities.

You'll provide creative direction across:

  • Customer stories
  • Customer testimonials
  • Executive thought leadership
  • Product launches
  • Social media video
  • Motion graphics
  • Event content

You'll also help determine when projects should be produced internally versus through agency or freelance partners.

Embrace AI as a Creative Advantage

You'll:

Build Strong Creative Partnerships

You'll manage relationships with creative agencies, production partners, and freelancers that extend the capabilities of our internal team.

You'll help determine the right balance between internal execution and external support while ensuring exceptional quality across every project.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 10+ years of professional design experience
  • 3–5+ years leading and managing creative teams
  • Experience managing teams of at least five designers
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional corporate brand work
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary design projects
  • Expertise across digital, web, campaigns, events, presentations, and brand systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience partnering with senior stakeholders across Marketing and the business
  • This role requires to be based in the East Coast of the US

Preferred

  • Experience in B2B enterprise software or technology
  • Experience supporting high-growth organizations
  • Experience partnering with Growth Marketing teams
  • Experience managing agencies and freelance partners
  • Interest in AI-powered creative tools and workflows
  • Familiarity with motion design and video production workflows

Compensation and Benefits

The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training. Eligible roles may also be entitled to receive commission or other variable compensation through Dataiku's incentive compensation program. 

Dataiku also offers comprehensive benefits, including stock options, medical, dental, and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, pre-tax commuter benefits, a 401k company match, paid vacations and sick leave, paid parental leave, employer paid disability coverage, and additional health and wellbeing perks and benefits. US only national base pay ranges

$168 - $220 USD
