We’re seeking an experienced and strategic Principal Business Partner, GTM Enablement to support our Americas field sales teams. This pivotal role will drive the enablement strategy and execution to enhance regional productivity, efficiency, and revenue growth.
In this role, you’ll contribute to the success of the field sales teams in the Americas (with a specific focus on Account Executives and Business Development Representatives) by providing relevant, localized training and content to articulate the value of Dataiku. You’ll create a learning culture for our field teams as they learn and master our consultative, value-driven sales motion.
Reporting directly into the Global Vice-President of GTM Enablement, this is a highly visible position where you’ll lead through influence and act as an extension of the Americas Sales Leadership team. You’ll translate business needs and gaps into effective enablement strategies and deliver high-impact training programs.
If you’re a strategic thinker with a passion for driving sales excellence and a proven ability to navigate complex global organizational dynamics, this role may be a good fit for you.
How you’ll make an impact
- Own and oversee the enablement strategy and its execution for the Americas Field teams, focusing on improving productivity and efficiency in revenue growth and pipeline efforts.
- Investigate and understand critical gaps and opportunities in the Americas, translating findings and data into comprehensive enablement and training programs.
- Build, schedule, and deliver tailored enablement training (e.g., virtual and in-person) to produce a healthy pipeline and accelerate new customer acquisition.
- Partner with the Global Enablement Design team to develop impactful on-demand training that dovetails the local virtual and live training.
- Design and implement innovative methodologies and frameworks to enhance field team performance.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of initiatives (training and content), preparing data and reasoning to provide actionable insights and feedback during QBRs and to the VP of Enablement to align efforts and sales KPIs for upcoming training.
- Stay abreast of new trends and tools that help field teams sell better, faster, and more effectively.
- Partner with subject matter experts to build content and deliver training with minimal support (e.g., Q&A).
- Partner with the Americas General Manager (GM) to build and deliver impactful local workshops, meetings, QBRs, and sales strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other Field teams to ensure alignment of enablement initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Develop and maintain a network of external advisors to bring fresh perspectives and best practices to the organization.
- Support, plan, and execute live sessions during Sales Kick-offs and other GTM-relevant events.
- Discuss and align findings and plans with the EMEA and APJ GTM Enablement Business Partner to identify potential Global training.
What you’ll need to be successful
- At least 7+ years experience in sales, training, sales ops, or related experience roles (e.g., product marketing), with a proven track record of success.
- Experience working for organizations in the tech, data science, or cloud space is required.
- Proficiency in relevant sales and enablement technologies and tools.
- Recognized as a subject matter expert in different areas related to sales and enablement.
