Data Engineer - ACWS

Data Engineer Summary: Lead data architecture and database operations, ensuring reliable, high-performing, and well-governed data services that support contract writing, reporting, modernization, and enterprise data quality through common data models and structures.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Analytics, or a related technical field
  • Relevant certification(s) in data engineering, cloud platforms, databases, Agile methodologies and CompTIA Security+
  • 4+ Years in data engineering, ETL/ELT, database design/development, data integration, data migration, APIs and data pipelines
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting solutions using Oracle Database, Amazon RDS for Oracle, PostgreSQL, AWS data services, ETL/ELT technologies
  • Active Secret clearance; ability to obtain Top Secret clearance based on Government requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience managing data supporting Appian environments
  • Experience with Oracle environments, data warehouse or business intelligence support, phased data migration, contract-related data, and collaboration with architects, developers, and operational stakeholders in federal mission systems is strongly desired
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, reporting feeds, metadata, data lineage, and integration patterns.
  • Oracle certification preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain ACWS data pipelines, mappings, integrations, and reporting feeds.
  • Support data migration, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and quality management.
  • Coordinate data requirements with BI, application, architecture, and database teams.
  • Document data flows, transformation logic, assumptions, and validation outcomes.
  • Recommend improvements to data reliability, automation, analytics readiness, and governance

The posted salary range is a good-faith estimate. Actual compensation will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
 

DSA - Salary Pay Range

$120,000 - $130,000 USD
