About the Opportunity
Sales Assistant to Partner | $60k paid hourly, overtime eligible
- Support the Partner in all sales-related tasks, including sending offers and liaising with and following up with clients.
- Coordinate all sales administration, including liaising with the accounting team to create invoice paperwork.
- Manage and maintain day-to-day calendar, travel, and itineraries.
- Responsible for organizing the Partner's inbox, and staying on top of all communication requests.
- Work closely with artists; manage inventory, internal exhibitions, and administrative tasks.
What you’ll do:
- Work closely with the Partner and additional sales assistant on all relevant tasks.
- Provide administrative support to the partner, while strategically managing their time and travel.
- Liaise frequently with multiple departments within the gallery including but not limited to: Registration, Research, Client Development, Digital, Marketing.
- Manage all Post-Sale services for clients including sending invoices, tracking payments, and general follow up.
- Support the Partner and other team members with sales strategy.
- Assist in drafting and monitoring any correspondences on behalf of the Partner.
What we would like you to have:
- 2-3 years in an assistant or administrative support role at a gallery.
- Experience supporting senior leadership with calendar management and travel itinerary.
- Detail oriented with experience in managing upwards.
- Strong Multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize and anticipate needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross departmentally.
- Passion for and knowledge of contemporary art.
