IT Infrastructure Developer

Location: Remote within Canada

Primary Objective: Manage, secure, and optimize DB ECO NA’s Microsoft 365 and Azure environments while enabling automation, process improvements, and cross systems integration that support Finance, Business Operations, HR and other business functions, innovation, and long-term scalability across IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure & Administration

  • Manage Azure resources including networks, storage, and services.
  • Oversee Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Administer Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) – roles, conditional access, governance.
  • Manage Intune for device compliance and deployment.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage and cost.

 Automation & Process Improvement

  • Build automation for provisioning, user management, and routine IT workflows.
  • Develop scripts and Power Automate flows to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy in business operations and Finance.
  • Implement proactive monitoring and alerting.

 Security & Compliance

  • Apply and maintain security policies (MFA, device compliance, least-privilege access).
  • Conduct periodic audits and support security incident investigations.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to maintain compliance standards.

 Integration & Innovation

  • Partner with business units to deliver secure integrations and data automation.
  • Support and enhance system integrations between Kantata, Business Central (ERP), Navan, ADP, and business systems used across Finance and Business Operations.
  • Work closely with Finance and other departments to understand the processes and workflows to ensure data accuracy and reducing manual work.
  • Support and optimize specialty applications hosted in Azure or SaaS environments.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies that improve efficiency and innovation opportunities as well asscalability of business systems.
  • Assuming technical ownership on integration and automation projects and working closely with the Director of IT and Business Stakeholders enabling strategic decisions and successful outcomes.

 Support & Continuity

  • Serve as escalation point for complex issues.
  • Maintain documentation and system configuration records.
  • Maintain audit readiness for financial system integrations and data handling.
  • Provide coverage for IT Director functions to ensure operational continuity.

Skills

  • PowerShell scripting (core for Microsoft 365 and Azure automation)
  • Azure CLI / Azure PowerShell / ARM templates
  • Terraform, Bicep, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
  • Python scripting for automation and API integrations

We offer an annual gross salary between $88,000 and $108,000 + bonus (CAD) for full-time employment, depending on professional qualifications and experience.
