The opportunity:

We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team and elevate their career with us. This is a pivotal role within the agency where you will have a direct impact on shaping both client relationships and the quality of the work produced. As an Account Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day management of key client accounts, guiding a team of Account Executives and Senior Account Executives to deliver exceptional service and high-quality work.

You’ll be working closely with senior leadership to drive client strategy and ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly. This is your opportunity to take ownership of larger, more complex accounts while continuing to develop as a leader within the agency.

About you:

As an Account Manager, you’ll have a strong background in account management, with proven experience leading client accounts and delivering high-quality creative work. You are someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, and you're passionate about building lasting relationships with clients and teams.

You should have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and navigate challenges smoothly. A natural leader, you’ll be comfortable managing both clients and teams, providing guidance and support where needed. Above all, you’ll have a results-driven mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional work that makes a real impact.

What you’re gonna need to bring:

  • You will have prior agency experience with a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and building strong client relationships.
  • Experience working in healthcare communications or a related industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong experience in managing multiple projects across various channels (digital, print, experiential, etc.) and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • A strategic thinker with an understanding of client needs and the ability to deliver solutions that drive business results.
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage time efficiently under pressure.
  • Commercially astute with a strong understanding of budget management and project profitability.

What We’ll Need You to Do:

Client Relationships & Strategy:

  • Own and develop client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for key accounts. Build trust and maintain positive relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Work with senior teams to define and deliver on strategic goals for clients, ensuring campaigns meet objectives and drive results.
  • Lead the development of client briefs, ensuring clarity and alignment between client expectations and agency capabilities.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively provide solutions that align with the business goals and objectives.

Project Management & Delivery:

  • Lead the delivery of multiple, complex projects across various channels (digital, print, experiential, etc.), managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Ensure all work is delivered to the highest quality, on time, and within budget, ensuring a seamless flow from concept to execution.
  • Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure projects are delivered in line with client expectations, from ideation to final delivery.
  • Oversee and support the Account Executives and Senior Account Executives in managing day-to-day project tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.

Team Management & Development:

  • Lead and mentor a team of junior account management staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to help them grow in their roles.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture, ensuring all members are aligned with agency values and delivering their best work.
  • Conduct performance reviews, offering constructive feedback and identifying areas for growth within your team.

Financial Management:

  • Take responsibility for client budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within scope and to budget. Proactively manage any potential budget discrepancies.
  • Monitor project profitability, flagging any potential issues early on and taking action to resolve them.
  • Support new business development and pitch efforts, helping to build a pipeline of opportunities and contributing to proposals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with various teams across the agency, including Creative, Strategy, Production, and Digital, to ensure the successful delivery of client campaigns.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align on client strategy and execution, helping to elevate client work and agency output.
  • Ensure that all internal and external communications are clear, effective, and aligned with client expectations.
