APAC GTM Lead — Decibel

Remote, Global (APAC)

About Decibel

Decibel is a high-performance, fully on-chain trading platform built in collaboration with Aptos Labs and the Decibel Foundation. Designed to match the speed of high performance trading, Decibel offers spot, perpetuals, and yield products through a unified, self-custodial interface. The platform runs on the Aptos blockchain, leveraging its sub-20ms block times and parallel execution to support real-time settlement, cross-margining, and modular vault strategies. Decibel aims to serve as the execution layer for the Aptos global trading engine, empowering traders, developers, and institutions with scalable, composable financial infrastructure.

Location: APAC (remote-friendly)

Team: Growth & Go-To-Market

Role Type: Full-time

Decibel is a fully onchain global derivatives exchange designed for speed, scale, and composability—pushing the frontier of how markets trade onchain. We’re looking for a sharp, resourceful, and deeply crypto-native APAC GTM Lead to own our regional growth engine and drive trading volume across the APAC markets.

This role sits at the intersection of growth, partnerships, and high-touch BD. You will activate and scale Decibel’s presence across APAC through KOLs, affiliates, whales, and high-volume traders—building durable distribution loops and cultivating relationships that generate deep liquidity and sustained volume.

Key Responsibilities

Regional GTM & Growth

  • Build and execute Decibel’s GTM strategy across APAC, prioritizing distribution channels that drive measurable trading volume.
  • Own performance metrics for user acquisition, active trading users, and regional volume growth.

KOL & Influencer Strategy

  • Serve as the primary liaison with a regional KOL agency.
  • Evaluate, onboard, and manage KOLs across multiple markets.
  • Lead campaign planning, execution, and optimization; ensure alignment with Decibel’s brand and target user segments.

Affiliate & Referrals Program

  • Design, launch, and scale Decibel’s APAC affiliate program.
  • Partner with head of decibel foundation to build and implement incentive structures that attract high-quality traders, not just traffic.
  • Manage dashboards, tracking, payouts, fraud monitoring, and optimizations.

Whale & VIP Relationship Management

  • Identify, target, and onboard high-volume traders and prop groups.
  • Manage the VIP program, including tier structures, rebates, incentives, and personalized support.
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships that convert into sustained weekly volume.

BD & Partnerships

  • Develop relationships with trading communities, market makers, regional prop desks, and local crypto institutions.
  • Evaluate and pursue growth partnerships (media, communities, trading tools, aggregators) that amplify reach.

Market Insights & Feedback Loop

  • Serve as the APAC voice for user needs; collect insights from traders and partners.
  • Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations to refine features, campaigns, and market strategies.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years experience in crypto growth, BD, GTM, or trading-focused partnerships in APAC.
  • Deep APAC ecosystem knowledge — KOLs, communities, local platforms, and trading cultures across KR/CN/SEA.
  • Proven track record running affiliate/referral programs or influencer/channel-driven growth loops.
  • Experience working directly with whales, prop firms, or VIP traders; ability to build trust and close high-impact relationships.
  • Strong understanding of perps, derivatives, CEX/DEX trading, and incentive mechanics.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort around KPIs, volume analysis, trader segmentation, and incentive modeling.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, zero-to-one environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills across diverse cultural contexts.
  • Crypto-native: understands market structure, incentives, narratives, and trader psychology.

What Success Looks Like

  • High-performing KOL and affiliate channels driving consistent new trader inflows.
  • Strong pipeline and conversion of whales and high-volume traders onto Decibel.
  • Regional VIP program delivering retention and increasing share-of-wallet.
  • Measurable lifts in regional volume driven by sustainable growth loops—not just one-off campaigns.
  • Decibel becomes a recognized and trusted brand among serious traders across APAC.

Our Benefits

  • Insurance premium coverage
  • Flexible vacation time
  • Competitive Salary
  • Protocol Token Grants

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
