We are looking for a driven and capable Project Controls Manager to support us with the development of multiple Data Center projects for one of the top technology clients in the world. This is a client-facing role. You will be responsible for managing the planning, scheduling, and cost control functions, supporting the Associate Director and Director of Project Controls in delivering consistent project performance and control standards across all workstreams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish a strong working relationship with the client and communicate effectively with both technical and management-level personnel.
  • Support the preparation of PowerPoint presentations and progress reports for management review.
  • Review project plans, requirements, and specifications to ensure accurate alignment with project objectives.
  • Work with the client and contractors to establish work breakdown structures (WBS), CPM baseline schedules, and integrated master schedules (IMS).
  • Assist in loading schedules with resource and cost information as required.
  • Perform schedule and resource analyses to identify potential bottlenecks and areas requiring corrective action.
  • Update, maintain, and revise monthly and weekly schedules and reports to reflect accurate project status.
  • Coordinate and review consultants’, contractors’, and vendors’ schedules to ensure compliance with client standards and contractual requirements.
  • Report on schedule performance, including progress trends, delays, or accelerations.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of earned value management (EVM) systems to monitor project performance.
  • Identify project risks, analyze potential impacts, and assist in developing mitigation plans.
  • Perform “what-if” and delay analyses under the guidance of the Associate Director.
  • Maintain clear communication between the company, clients, and project teams on all project control matters.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of construction project controls experience.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Experience in vertical construction is a must (e.g., Data Centers, Hotels, Hospitals, Mixed-Use Buildings, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling principles and project control best practices.
  • High proficiency in Primavera P6, including schedule updates, resource loading, and reporting.
  • Experience developing and presenting various project control reports (e.g., critical path, progress curves, resource histograms, etc.).
  • Previous experience in client-facing roles.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, capable of interacting effectively with both technical and management stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Data Center construction experience.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
  • PSP or PMI-SP certification.
  • Active membership in PMI, AACEi, or similar professional associations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
