Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineering Manager to lead the full Quality Assurance function across multiple data center and mission-critical construction projects.

The role focuses on QMS implementation, audits, contractor quality oversight, non-conformance management, and continuous improvement in high-reliability, zero-defect environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage QA/QC teams across assigned data center projects.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Management System.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, client requirements, project specifications, and regulatory obligations.
  • Oversee ITPs, method statements, QA procedures, and quality documentation.
  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of findings.
  • Manage NCRs, CARs, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
  • Monitor contractor quality performance and enforce compliance.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning, client, consultant, and contractor teams.
  • Provide quality reports, KPIs, risk assessments, and improvement recommendations.
  • Support testing, commissioning, handover quality validation, and closeout activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices across projects.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering — Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline.
  • Strong QA/QC experience on data center or mission-critical projects.
  • Proven experience implementing and governing Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience leading multi-discipline QA/QC teams.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ITPs, method statements, audits, NCRs, CARs, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to review technical documentation, QA procedures, and material submittals.
  • Strong stakeholder management, reporting, and compliance enforcement skills.

Nice to Have

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification or equivalent.
  • Hyperscale or Tier III / Tier IV project experience.
  • GCC or international project exposure.
  • Experience in MEP-heavy construction environments.
  • Commissioning and start-up environment exposure.
  • Familiarity with Aconex, Procore, or similar document control systems.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, digital QA/QC tools, and risk-based quality planning.

  • QMS Governance – Strong capability in implementing and maintaining effective quality systems.
  • Audit and Compliance – Skilled in audit planning, execution, findings closure, and standards compliance.
  • Contractor Quality Oversight – Ability to monitor contractor performance and enforce quality requirements.
  • Non-Conformance Management – Strong experience managing NCRs, CARs, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
