
Agile Project Manager

As an Agile Project Manager (APM), you will drive the day-to-day execution rhythm for one or more delivery teams. You will ensure clarity, structure, and flow across all Agile ceremonies, maintain strong backlog hygiene, and support teams in delivering predictable, high-quality outcomes.
This role is critical in operationalising DeepIntent’s delivery methodology at the team level. Where Senior PMs operate across product lines and strategic programs, the APM ensures execution excellence within each team—making sure the fundamentals are strong, the work is well-scoped, and the team is consistently unblocked.
You will play a key role in our operating model, ensuring that Agile practices, Jira governance, and modern automation-first principles are applied effectively to maximise team throughput and quality.
- Execution & Delivery Leadership
- Own and facilitate team-level Agile ceremonies: refinement, planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Ensure stories meet high-quality bars (acceptance criteria, categories, estimation readiness).
- Maintain backlog hygiene and ensure a steady pipeline of well-defined work.
- Track sprint commitments, highlight potential delivery risks, and proactively surface blockers.
- Support teams in strengthening estimation discipline, predictable delivery, and iterative progress.
- Cross-Team Collaboration & Requirement Clarity
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering Managers to ensure requirements are complete, clear, and implementation-ready.
- Help teams understand priorities, upcoming roadmap items, and cross-team dependencies.
- Coordinate with other APMs/Sr PMs to align timelines, track inter-team handoffs, and resolve workflow friction.
- Process Discipline, Governance & Compliance
- Ensure accurate capitalization tagging, Jira hygiene, and compliance with process standards.
- Maintain documentation best practices (Confluence pages, release notes, workflow guides, etc.).
- Uphold delivery operating model guidelines developed by the PMO.
- Reporting & Operational Insights
- Generate foundational operational reports:
- Team velocity
- Burndown/burnup
- Throughput
- Sprint summaries

- Provide concise status updates to PMs, EMs, and Senior PMs.
- Support trend analysis at the team level to improve predictability and remove recurring blockers.
- AI-Enabled Productivity & Workflow Automation
- Use AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Jira automation) to streamline repetitive operational steps.
- Help identify opportunities for automation within ceremonies, reporting, and Jira workflows.
- Contribute inputs to the broader Agentic Framework being developed by the Project Management team.
- 1+ years of experience in Agile project coordination, Agile delivery, or team-level project management in a technology/product environment.
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery rhythms and team execution patterns.
- Strong knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and basic reporting/dashboards.
- Ability to maintain structure, clarity, and organisation in fast-moving environments.
- Strong communicator who facilitates productive conversations and removes ambiguity.
- High emotional intelligence and comfort working with cross-functional teams.
- Interest in AI tools (Cursor, Claude) and willingness to adopt automation-first practices.
- Bonus: experience in healthcare, adtech, or data-centric product environments.
